Culture brings forth a distinctive way of living and working. In both scenarios there existed a culture. One was of tradition and influence and resulted in an ineffectual system for students and many staff. The other was of growth, collaboration, deeply shared and lived values and beliefs resulting in a productive learning experience for students. Staff further internalized their collective efficacy—"we can make a difference."
