Vision Statement: Examples

Vision Statement Decide whether you want to develop a vision statement. This statement would answer the question: "What do we want to create?" It is part of establishing overall direction but extends it to another level of aspiration. Joel Barker, "The Power of Vision," stated, "Our Visions of the Future are the most powerful motivators for human change."

Examples include:
  • SAI
All members will feel valued as professionals and inspired to be leaders of learning in their communities.

  • School District
All stakeholders (students, parents, staff, community members) having a shared sense of purpose and commitment to our quality school.

  • Private Company
An organization that treats its clients as guests, has deep caring for each other and focuses on internal perfection.

  • An AEA
A high performance team that consistently and predictably meets or exceeds customer expectation.
