You have a student group that for several years has been labeled as “The Group.” They have been disruptive for several different teachers. You have been literally confronted with the issues. You ask about what has been done in the past. The answer is more rules, suspensions (both in-school and out-of-school) and parent conferences. Based on your knowledge of the above mission, power, structure, resources, where is the problem? What part of the above model has been the focus in the past?
