Bill GarnerBill Garner has recently retired from school administration and now devotes his time consulting in the area of school finance. During the past ten years, he has provided assistance with the school districts budgeting process.

He has been a presenter at the Iowa Superintendents Finance and Leadership Conferences for the past eight years. He has served as the Area Education Agencies representative on the Iowa Department of Education Finance Round Table.

The past ten years, Bill has served as an Area Education Agency administrator. In prior years he was superintendent of schools for twenty years in three different school districts. A former mathematics and physical education teacher and coach, he also served as a high school principal for four years.

As an AEA administrator he assumed a mentoring role to new superintendents within his area to help them and their districts to be successful. His passion for school finance and budgeting process is why he has continued to give assistance to school districts since retirement.

Currently he and his wife reside in Webster City, Iowa and at their lake home in Mountain Home, Arkansas area.
