Ann Feldmann works as the Executive Director of Human Resources for the Cedar Rapids Community Schools. She has been a high school social studies teacher and coach, high school associate principal, and Director of Human Resources for the Iowa City Community Schools. She is an adjunct/clinical professor for Drake University in the Educational Administration division, Chair of the Iowa Association for School Administrators, Board Chair and trainer of the Carver ePortfolio Grant program at the University of Iowa, Board member of the Riverside Theatre (a professional acting company) in Iowa City, and Board member of Young Parents Network (a non-profit organization dedicated to preventing teen pregnancy and assisting teenaged parents) in Cedar Rapids. Ann has extensive experience in giving presentations on numerous human resources topics via organizations such as School Administrators of Iowa, Iowa Association of School Boards, Iowa Association of School Personnel Directors, and the Iowa Superintendents Finance and Leadership Consortium Conference. She manages a mailing list that serves as a resource on human resources topics for administrators across Iowa. Ann is a trainer of administrator evaluation in Iowa and is working with the University of Iowa to extend the ePortfolio evaluation tool into the administrative evaluation arena.

Ann’s educational background includes a B.A. from the University of Northern Iowa in secondary teaching, an M.A. from Marycrest University in secondary education, an M.A. from Drake University in Educational Administration, and an Ed. Specialist from Drake University in Educational Administration.
