Katheryn Spencer is a retired elementary educator who has worked in urban, suburban, and rural Iowa. As an elementary teacher, she taught several grade levels working in self-contained and team teaching situations. As principal, she served preschool through sixth grade students, their families, and staff. She has worked extensively with school personnel, parents, and community members on curriculum development and other school improvement efforts.

Katheryn is a facilitator for the Framework for Teaching Program and the Iowa Evaluator Approval Program. She continues her interest and support of educators and parents as they strive to provide the best possible education for students.
