What was the greatest benefit to you?
Time to work was helpful. The hypothesis selection was excellent. I appreciated the template/guidelines you provided on hypothesis. Now we know what we have the ability to influence and what would have a lasting impact. We really made progress!

The opportunity to work with my school district, and because more aware of districts plans and their APR. As an AEA consultant, I'm not always made to be a part of this area.

Dialogue with team, K-12 perspective, processes great, hypothesis process especially helpful.

Collaboration with others from the other two schools.

Good opportunity to dialogue regarding assessment issues in the district. Would not have happened if we didn't have this time.

We got so much done—we really needed this!

Time to work with the team. Lunch and atmosphere too!

Meeting with principals and teachers from all levels was important.

Helped to realize how great our need was in reading. The process was very beneficial for application to other identified needs. Second day more productive as it was more district specific for us.

As a parent, I have a greater appreciation for the procedures used to determine knowledge level and comparisons between classes. It's interesting seeing trends and developing strategies to encourage an upward trend. Liked the amount of team time for our large group.

What expectations did you come with that were not satisfied?
I had the impression that we were going to look at multiple measures but once again we only focused on ITBS (not necessarily your fault). It's just hard to know how it all fits together. (4 rating)

Timing for this in spring as we gear up for next year. (5 rating)

Was not sure what to expect. (5 rating)

The first day we did not have as much specific data as we needed—this may have been our fault. (4 rating)

I had no idea what to expect, but was impressed by the discussions from various perspectives! Beautiful location, but very difficult to hear members of our group. Acoustics made discussion difficult for our large group. (parent, 4 rating).

I don't know what connection there is between the hypotheses we brainstormed and our annual goals (3 rating)

I had hoped we'd develop specific goals to begin working with next meeting of SIT (or continue/add to the established goals). (3 rating)

Note: Feedback that gave 2 rating put "none" as answer for question that asked about what needs were not satisfied.
